According to Biomedicine Today, Amgen (AMGN) will provide Temodar, a drug used to treat multiple sclerosis (MS), to India for the first time. MS is the primary supplier of cancer drugs in India, accounting for two thirds of all cancer treatments rendered in the nation. MS is the second-largest source. Along with other biopharma shipments from Amgen's Indian partner Cipla, Novartis, a partner of Amgen, also supplies the MS drug to India. The two large pharmaceutical corporations declared their ambition to work together in 2014.
